Kitesurfing:

I practice kitesurfing for 2 years, and I like very much doing it. 

It's a dangerous sport, every year dead about 10 persons in 

the world, so you have to be supervised by an expert.

You can practice it on la Rubina (Empuriabrava), and they are not 

a lot of places to practice it.

My village:

I live in Castelló d'Empuries since I was born.

Castelló is a touristic village next to the catalan cost, it has about 10.000 habitants.

There are a lot of interesting places to visit in my village, for example:

-The canals in Empuriabrava.

-The gotic church.

-Natural parck: Aiguamolls.

-The beach.

-And the center of the village.

My favorite football team is the FC Barcelona. 

I'm a fan of barça since I was born. It has the best player about the world.

Catalonia elections:

Today 25th of November has been done 12th elections in Catalonia.

The political group most voted has been CIU, followed by PSC, ERC...

These Elections has been a good elections, because the participation has increased respected the last one. And I think that the actual president who convened these elections espected more than he has had.

Fernando Alonso:

I like very much see formula 1, my favourit racer is Fernando Alonso, he was born in 1981 in Oviedo(Spain) and he has won 2 times the Formula One World Driver's Championship with Renault.

Today Alonso has driven very good with ferrari, but Vetel had more points than him, so Vetel is the new Formula Oone World Driver’s Champion. Although Alonso was better than Vetel during all this year, finally Vetel won.

Film Review:

American Pie:

"American Pie" is a teen comedy, and it is well known what most young people is like sex and partying, and this is what is reflected in the film. Has pretty good and crazy scenes, but those who do not like the movies that focus too much on these issues probably hate this saga.

The performances are not bad, the various relationships between the characters are interesting and generally the film is very entertaining and quite funny at times.

In conclusion, more than acceptable comedy, recommend who hasn’t seen it!

Costa Concordia disaster:

On 13th January, the Costa Concordia cruise ship crashed againts the rocks on the Italian island of Giglio causing the naval accident more serious in the last years. Into the ship travelled 4.229 people, mostly Italians, French and Germans

The ship's captain Francesco Schettino, 52 years old, was arrested the same day and charged with multiple manslaughter, shipwreck and abandoning the ship while many passengers were still inside the ship.

More than 40,000 people were killed since the start of conflict in Syria:

More than 40,000 people were killed during the 20-month conflict between the forces of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, and the rebels want to take him out.

Rami Abdelrahman head of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, said about half of the victims were civilians and the other half was divided between rebels and government soldiers.

The numbers are probably much higher because the rebels and the government lie about the death about their followers to leave an impression that they are winning.

Dominique and Bruno Legainoux were two brothers that invented the kitesurfing.

They were inspirated when they saw a boat pushed by a big kite.

First they make a kite with only two strings, the kiter went with skis instead of a table.

Equipment:

Table: It's the part you need to slide on the water, there are a lot of kinds of tables,

like race tables, surf tables or frestyle tables.

Harness: It's the part that holds the kitesurfer's body to the kite.

Bar: It's the part that connects the kite with the harness trhought the strings

It controls the directions of the kitesurfer.

Kite: It's the part with the wind force helps you to slide.

Helmet: It's the part used to protect your head when you fall down.

Diferent kinds of competition:

Freestyle: It's the most famous type.

In this kind of competition you have 8 minuts and you have to do as much tricks as you can.

Surf: In this kind of competition you have to do as tricks as you can surfing on the waves.

Race: In this kind of competition  you have to reach the finish line as quick as you can.

An it will be for first time in the olimpic games in Rio Janeiro.

Best kitesurfers:

Gisela Pulido was born in 1994 she has won 6 world championshiop, 3 titles in Spain and 

one european title.

Aaron hadlow was born in 1988 he is the best kitesurfer in the world and he had won 5 

world championship.

Effort’s power

Once upon a time there was a very poor young boy who lived in a quarter in the center of New York. He had lost his father some years ago in a car accident and since then his mother fell in a deep depression. She couldn't find any good job and so both of them tried to earn money as they could. The little boy went out on the streets every day after school to ask for money to the people who were walking there.

New York is a city with thousands and thousands of faces but there was one that he saw every single day. The young boy had no problems to talk to anyone, but that man was an exception. He just didn't dare to ask him. It wasn't like he was afraid. He only admired him too much.

Then, one afternoon like all the other ones the man approached. While he was making one step after another, the heart of the little boy beated so fast that he felt that it would jump out of his chest. Eventually, the man stood in front of him. He was a tall middle-aged man. He started to speak: "I've been observing you for a long time. And you know it, you aren't stupid. I know your life is very hard and you have to do your best because you and your mother can survive. I'm afraid, I'm little help to you because I'm very poor too. Today, I haven't earned a single dollar yet." To the man's surprise, the young boy said nothing. He just put his hand in his pocket and took out some coins. "I'm sorry... that's all I have". The young boy gave him the little money he had received that day. After he had realized the boy's kind offer, the man refused and said: "Well, it's not true what I said. It's not that I can't give you anything. Forgive me for lying, but I had to know if you were really worth it." Suddenly, he shouted: "Watch out, behind you!"

The boy turned around and saw nothing but a simple wall. As he tried to respond, the man had already disappeared... "What a strange man..."

The next morning he woke up by the words of a very familiar voice. First, he didn't notice. It was like the most natural thing for him. But when he started to be wide awake and his eyes analized the situation, the tears began to flow like rivers from his eyes. His father didn't know what had happened and he just hugged his son.

If you work hard for you objectives and have a pure heart, the life will award you, like our young boy.

Dear Auntie Joan and Uncle Bill,

it was really kind of you to invite me to your

anniversary party next month, but I’m afraid

I won’t be able to go. I’ve got to go to Canada on a

business trip from 15th to 20th October, so I won’t be

here on 17th when you’re having the party. I’m really

sorry that I’m going to miss the celebration.
